About the Editor

I’m an attorney in San Diego, California.  I practice in the field of business and real estate transactions—happy stuff.  I’ve wedged this passion into my busy schedule.  And the rewards have been fantastic.  I’ve gotten to visit museums that I never knew existed.  I’ve gotten to share in the stories that each one tells.  And I’ve gotten to work with some of the most fantastic writers from all over the globe.

Europe’s museums tell stories that span thousands of years, forty-four countries, and too many topics to count. We want to help you find those stories.

Museums are products of passion. A country, a people, an era—there’s a story to be told, and someone consumed with passion decided to tell it. That someone may have long since passed into obscurity. But thanks to their commitment, the story hasn’t.

Join us in walking the halls of the historic Louvre in Paris.

Let us help you enter the remarkable Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.  Discover the home of Anne Frank in Amsterdam, Netherlands; see a restored 17th century ship in Stockholm, Sweden; visit the turning point of World War II in Normandy, France; connect with the sweeping stories of dozens of countries through their national museums, featuring history, culture, crafts, and art.

And we welcome your stories.  We want to hear from you.  What happened when your personal story met the museum’s story?  Have we overlooked your favorite museums?  Have we missed a great article topic?  Let us journey through the museums of Europe, on these pages and in the museums we love.  And let us do it together.
